I have always wanted to dedicate my life to service.  In 2008 I took my first step into service as a reserve police officer which quickly turned into a full time career path in 2009.  My passion for service continued to grow over the years so in August 2011 I enlisted into the Oklahoma Army National Guard.  I was now serving my community nearly every day of the week in many different ways and I still wanted more.  My growing passion to continue serving led me to volunteering for a deployment to Afghanistan in 2017-2018 and again led me to recruiting starting in December 1, 2018.

I have been serving my community since that day as a recruiter and mentor to young people and adults alike.  Explaining the benefits someone qualifies for, the paid training you can receive, 100% college tuition and sharing how I used the very same foundation for my own success is a true honor.  Being given the platform to teach our young people and help them find a path for success has been just as much life changing for me as it has been those I have shared with.  To say it hasn’t touched me deeply would be completely false.

That National Guard has changed my life in every aspect and I believe it can change anyone’s if they embrace the opportunity and push themselves.
